A compelling counterpoint to the classically pure and linear regional style. Extended skin contact and a little oxidative handling result in a textured and punchy wine packed with apple skin and lime pickle characters, yet still retaining the brightness and energetic acidity that defines great Clare riesling (115 dozen made).

Our 17 Riesling is full of flesh, flavour and texture, all elements that are achievable in a longer hang time scenario. Around 40% of the wine was fermented in OEUF tanks, on skins for about two months. The balance was barrel fermented, of which half was with all solids, half as racked juice. So many elements in what was only 110 dozen.
As per usual, no yeast, acid, fining or filtration, bottled under gravity.
