PFEIFFER VINEYARD (SEPPELTSFIELD)
Nestled around our winery in Seppeltsfield, the vineyard is under the ownership of Matt & Leanne Pfeiffer. It encompasses a true field blend, featuring organically nurtured goblet/bush vines intertwined with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Alicante Bouschet.
With its size just under 1 hectare, the Pfeiffer vineyard yields small batches each year.
We hand-harvest the entire block and ferment the varieties together, before the wine undergoes elevage in seasoned French puncheons. The outcome is a wine that boasts layers of brooding dark fruits and an enticing density, all whilst retaining graceful character.
Located on the Western Ridge, the vineyard thrives on red and yellow clay-loam soil, representing the classic Barossa terroir in all its splendor.
